Composition: AgC
This silver graphite contactor containing 3 - 5% silver graphite has a highly 
reliable fusion welding resistance and a low contact resistance.

Applications: 
The wide applications for this product include low voltage breakers, circuit 
protective switches, fault current protective switches, slide brush leakage 
protective switches, slide ring converters, and railway signal relays. For many 
applications the graphite content will be 3%, but for serious opening and closing
conditions the content should be 5%.

This product has good electrical conductivity, low contact resistance, high fusion
welding resistance, zero fusion under short circuit currents, and a good sliding
ability. However, it also has high electrical corrosion, poor extinguishing capacity,
burning under long duration of arc actions, which result in carbon deposits, and
makes material brittle and difficult to solder.
